Big and beautiful, this Australian Sapphire will make a unique piece of jewelry. The colour is very dark, almost black in most lighting, with understated flashes of blue and green.
I Faceted this one a few years ago for a local small claim miner, who still owns this gem.
It is faceted into a shield type design, bilaterally symmetrical.

Approx 15.1mm corner to corner x 15.1mm corner to side x 8.4mm depth.

Hand dug by a local miner on  his claim.

Some remnant silk may be present in the stone, but not noticeable.
