🔷GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
This unique sapphire is largely yellow, with green and gold highlights, and an earthy bronze sheen from rutile silk inclusions.
This gem faces up quite large, and has been faceted into an elongated hexagonal shape reminiscent of the rough crystal. 
This was the first of the two stones faceted from a 'Pharaohs Eye', 'dog's tooth' type sapphire crystal. 
The rough gem had a fracture partway through the stone and was therefore faceted into two amazing gems. 
This gem would make a statement ring or pendant.

Approx 10.0mm l x 7.0mm w X 5.0mm depth.

🔎 CLARITY : No fractures or flaws.
There is some natural bronze rutile silk inclusions on one end of the gem and a fine layer partway across the table, which will shimmer bronze gold with a strong light on a certain angle. 
'Silk' is natural inclusions in sapphire. Sometime sapphires heat treated to help dissolve silk and improve clarity but this Sapphire is completely natural as unearthed.
